Im giving the game 3 stars because it was initially fun with clever puzzles, and also because its a relatively long game in the genre. After a few hours, though, I felt I was just looking for the solutions to the puzzles hidden across the island. Also, many of the puzzles are variations of the same theme, which kind of made the game artificially long.
My main gripe is that theres no real glue to the structure of the game that ties the puzzles together. Yes, some of them need to be solved to move on to the next puzzle, but theres nothing which leads the game from one part to the next. I wasnt even expecting a good story, just something to help tie the gameplay together.
I still think that The Lost Treasure is a good game and well worth the price. As long as you dont expect a good story or logical progression, then you wont disappointed. If anything, the features such as the camera help keep you on track, so if you want a game to pick up, play, and put down, then TLT is a good choice. The puzzles are tough but not too impossible (I finished the game without using hints and a only a couple of "trial and error" solutions), so if you dont use the in-game hints, youll probably have hours -- maybe days -- of fun.
